Placing an order

Adding something to your basket is not an order. Your order is placed when you pay through Stripe, and accepted when we confirm it by email. Until then either of us can walk away.

We may decline an order: an address we cannot deliver to, a price that was published in error, or an order that looks fraudulent. If we decline one you have paid for, you get all of your money back.

Prices

All prices are in US dollars and include delivery to the 6 countries we serve. There is no separate shipping charge and no minimum order.

Because your print is made in your own region, orders inside those countries are domestic deliveries and carry no import duty. See shipping.

Prices can change, but never after you have paid. The price you see at checkout is the price you are charged.

What you are buying

A giclee reproduction, printed to order on 200gsm enhanced matt art paper and framed behind an acrylic glaze. You are buying a print, not an original painting and not any right in the artwork itself.

Every screen renders color differently, and oil paint photographs with more depth than any screen can show. We reproduce each painting as faithfully as the process allows, but a print will not match your monitor exactly, and that difference is not a fault.

Delivery

3 to 13 business days, free, to the countries listed on shipping. Those dates are estimates rather than guarantees: once a parcel is with a courier its progress is not something we control.

Risk passes to you on delivery. If it arrives damaged, that is ours to fix.

If something goes wrong

Damaged, faulty or not what you ordered: we remake it or refund it, and nothing has to be posted back. Change of mind is not covered, because each piece is made for one order. The full position is on returns and refunds.

The artwork is not yours to reproduce

Emma Mickelberg owns the copyright in every painting on this site. Buying a print gives you the print. It does not give you the right to copy, scan, reproduce or resell the image commercially.

What we are responsible for

If we get your order wrong, we fix it or refund it. What we are not liable for is indirect loss: a piece that misses an occasion, or costs incurred because a delivery ran late. Our liability is limited to what you paid for the order.

Nothing here removes rights you have by law where you live, including UK, EU and Australian consumer law.

Changes

These terms may change. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.

Governing law

New Zealand law governs these terms. That does not deprive you of the protection of consumer law in your own country.
